Yoga For A Cause at Enclave at Box Hill (and two other Paint Our Town Pink events)

Forget painting the town red—we’re painting our town pink in Bel Air.

Throughout the month of October, you’ll see storefronts decked out in all things pink, fundraising events, and #PaintOurTownPink promotions popping up everywhere.

What’s it all about? #PaintOurTownPink is an annual community-wide effort to raise awareness about breast cancer, and support cancer patients at the local Kaufman Cancer Center.

Join us in spreading awareness about early cancer prevention as we #PaintOurTownPink. (Oh, and have a little fun at the same time!) Here’s what’s going on in Bel Air this month—including free yoga classes at Enclave at Box Hill.

1. Yoga For A Cause at Enclave at Box Hill

Sign up for Enclave at Box Hill’s Yoga for a Cause, weekly drop-in yoga classes benefiting Breast Cancer Research! Bring a donation for the amount of your choice to class. At the end of the month, we’ll give all donations to the Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation in partnership with the Bel Air Downtown Alliance #PaintOurTownPink campaign.

Yogis of all levels are welcome, but space is limited so sign up today!
Class Schedule:

Saturday, October 10th at 11 AM
Saturday, October 17 at 11 AM
Saturday, October 24th at 11 AM
Sunday, October 31st at 3:30 PM

2. Friday for a Cause presented by Gold Medal Physical Therapy

If you’ve lived in Bel Air long, you know the place to be on the first Friday from May through October is at the Main Street Lot.

It’s basically a super fun community-wide block party that was supposed to end on the 2nd, but thanks to Gold Medal Physical therapy, the fun doesn’t have to end.

On October 9, head to the Gold Medal Physical Therapy parking lot (407 E. Churchville Road, Bel Air) for an evening of delicious award-winning BBQ from Slabulous and great music by Harford’s Community College WHFC 91.1. Hey, it might be happening on the second Friday of the month, but we’re entirely OK with this party for a good cause that supports the American Cancer Society.

3. Annual Oyster Festival presented by the Main Street Oyster House

The Main Street Oyster Houses’s Wine & Oyster Fest is a celebration we look forward to every year. This year, they’re Painting Our Town Pink, too. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the Kaufman Cancer Center, so you’ll get to enjoy the live music, delectable oysters, and offerings from local vendors for a fantastic cause.
