Take a Spin Around the Rink at Ice World
You only have three years until the next winter Olympics — better get to practicing! Okay, so maybe that’s a bit of a lofty goal, but you can still have lots of fun on ice this winter at Ice World in Abingdon. Ice skaters and hockey players love Ice World’s weekly free skate sessions, but amateur adults and kids can also try out some skates during their open session.
There is a public skate session just about every day, and chances are you won’t be the only one out on the ice who isn’t an Olympian. If you’re ready to hone your skills, Ice World also has a variety of lessons for everyone to master the art of the skate, like parent and child group class, hockey skating, and Totsicles for the little ones. And if your kid has a birthday or other occasion to celebrate, Ice World has the party packages that include skate time, pizza, and rentals for your guests.
