Support Local Artists at Take a Chance on Art
Interested in filling your home with local art? When you purchase a ticket at Take a Chance on Art, you’ll be entered into a lottery drawing for a piece of local artwork! Take a Chance on Art will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. March 26 at the Bel Air Armory, located at 37 N Main Street. Tickets to be entered in the lottery are $75. If you’d rather not enter the lottery but still want to enjoy the evening, tickets to enjoy the event’s music, art, appetizers, and wine are only $25 each. Take a Chance on Art is sponsored by the Hartford Artists’ Association and the Bel Air Cultural Arts Commission. Each ticket holder takes home a piece of local artwork created by members of the Hartford Artists’ Association, including framed prints, paintings, jewelry, and hand-carved gourds.
Take a Chance on Art is the Hartford Artists’ Association’s first fundraiser of the year. All proceeds from the event will go toward the association’s mission of promoting art in Hartford County through events, programs, and community outreach, so you’re benefiting community artists and taking home a one-of-a-kind piece!
